Nokia Launches Cheapest MP3 / Dual-SIM Phone - Nokia 101 (Watch promo video)
Nokia has launched the cheapest ever MP3 / Dual-SIM mobile phone to date - Nokia 101. The estimated retail price of this gadget is around US$35 (Php1,500) and it has also the most stylish in this price range.
Nokia 101 SIM manager allows users to switch between two different networks to lower costs and expand coverage. Though, it is based on old Series 30 operating system only. Also, it has an integrated MP3 player, an FM radio and comes preloaded with games. Can support memory card up to 16GB which can make you store hundreds of music tracks and a headset is included in the package.
Nokia's Executive Vice President of Mobile Phones, Mary McDowell, declared:
“We recognize that for many of the next billion people, a phone purchase is an investment. People are looking for a phone that offers great features but also one that is dependable. When paired with powerful and locally relevant services such as Nokia Life Tools, the Nokia 101 and Nokia 100 offer a unique experience that is simply unmatched in their markets at these price points.”
The Nokia 101 will hit the stores before the end of September 2011.
