Another FIRE hits Cebu (September 4, 2012)

Another fire broke out in Cebu City early Tuesday afternoon, gutting a two-storey commercial building, this time along MJ Cuenco Avenue, corner Urdaneta St., Barangay San Roque in Cebu City.

No one was reported hurt in the fire that started at around 1:20 p.m.

The fire that lasted for almost half an hour started on the second level of Modern Metal Marketing, an establishment that engage in selling of tires and metal products.

Thanks to the heavy rains that poured over the area and helped put out the fire that destroyed property worth some P3.5 million.

The cause of the fire is still unknown and no casualty was recorded in the initial investigation.
