Smart Gilas beats Lebanon in 2012 FIBA Asia Cup, 78-68

Smart Gilas-Pilipinas bounced back from a disappointing loss to China Friday and comes out strong in the final stretch as as they stunned powerhouse Lebanon, 78-68, in the in the FIBA Asia Cup in Tokyo, Japan Saturday.




Naturalized center Marcus Douthit had another brilliant game pacing the Smart Gilas with 25 points and 21 rebounds, while Gary David and LA Tenorio chipped in 11 points each.

Smart Gilas will play Uzbekistan on Sunday, September 16.
