Bagyong OFEL intensifies, Storm Warning Signal #2 raised

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that Bagyong "OFEL" has intensified into a tropical storm and threatens Caraga Region and Visayas.

The state weather bureau said, as of 4:00 a.m. today (October 24), Bagyong "OFEL" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 90 km East of Tandag, Surigao Del Sur (9.0°N, 127.5°E).
