Super Typhoon 'BOPHA' (Pablo) moves closer to PAR (Dec. 02, 2012)

This storm can be very destructive and would turn into a supertyphoon, even stronger than the destructive “Sendong” that hit Mindanao and left more than 1,200 people dead last year, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Unless it changes direction, this storm appears headed for the same areas in Northern Mindanao that Sendong hit, the state weather bureau added.
