Cool iPhone 5 Concept Video - Transparent Touchscreen

The mock-IPhone 5 commercial, created by a 17-year-old Oklahoma high school student Dakota Adney, shows a realization of a transparent screen with virtually projected keyboard.

The young Adney shows different applications from Facebook to Twitter to write a text message and capturing an image.

According to AdneyFilms, "Clearly amazing. The quad-core A5 chip delivers even more power. The laser projection keyboard liberates your thumbs. The new iClear Retina display presents sharp graphics and stunning images. iOS 6 will take your iPhone experience in an entirely new direction. And if there's anything else you need, just ask Siri."

Amazing!! Watch Apple Introducing Siri on iPhone 4S Video

Apple announced the iPhone 4S this week and a day after it's co-founder, Steve Jobs, died. The phone physically looks a lot like the iPhone 4, but has some other nice features that the latter doesn’t – namely Siri, dual core processor and a beefed up camera. And of course it will launch with Apple’s new operating system iOS 5.

Siri on iPhone 4S lets you use your voice to send messages, schedule meetings, place phone calls, and more. Ask Siri to do things just by talking the way you talk. Siri understands what you say, knows what you mean, and even talks back. Siri is so easy to use and does so much, you’ll keep finding more and more ways to use it.

Here's the Siri features on iPhone4s:

Ask for a reminder.
You can say "Remind me to call Mom when I get home" and Siri sets a reminder for you.

Ask to send a text.
Say something like, "Tell Bronwyn I'm running late." And Siri writes and send the text.

Ask about the weather.
If you ask "Do I need an umbrella?" Siri gives you the forecast for where you are.

Ask for information.
Ask "Where's the best pizza place?" or "Where's an ATM?" and Siri finds a few nearby.

Ask to set a meeting.
You can tell Siri "Meet Kristen for lunch at noon" and Siri puts it on your calendar.

Ask to send an email.
If you say "Email Sandy: Can you send me those photos?" Siri writes and sends the email.

Ask for a number.
Tell Siri "Look up Kyle's number" and Siri finds it for you in your contacts.

Ask to set an alarm.
"Set an alarm for 6a.m." is all you need to say. Siri sets as many alarms as you need.

Ask for directions.
Ask something like "Where's Apple?" and Siri tells you the address and how to get there.

Ask about your stocks.
"How's Apple Stock?" is one way to say it. And Siri keeps you up to date.

Ask to set the timer.
Say "Set the timer for 10 minutes8 and Siri starts keeping time.

Ask Siri about Siri.
Ask "What can you do?" and Siri tells you everything you need to know.

Again? Iphone 5 Prototype Lost in A Bar?

Oh, come on! Sounds familiar to me! For the second time around, the same high-profile incident that happened with the iPhone 4 prototype last year has happened again, this time Apple has failed to recover the presumably iPhone 5.

According to CNET report, an Apple employee once again appears to have lost an iPhone prototype in a Mexican bar, San Francisco’s Mission district in late July during field test. The gadget was then apparently may have already been sold to Craigslist for $200!

Last year, just a month prior to the iPhone 4 launch, a pre-production version was found in a bar and then bought by a gadget blog Gizmodo for $5,000 in cash. Gizmo then quickly published the images and video of the handset prior to the release date.

Now, do you think an Apple employee would be stupid enough to let this happen again?

1 OUT OF 5 CELLPHONES IS FAKE (Video)

According to the world top mobile phone maker Nokia, one out of every 5 cell phones sold worldwide are illegal or fake which hurting the position of leading vendors in emerging markets. The "gray market" is killing their positions in emerging markets like in South America and other parts of Asia.

Esko Aho, a member of Nokia's executive board, explained that the counterfeit devices are mostly China-originated but it is already global nowadays. It means that it is not only in Asia, but also in Latin America and even in some parts of Europe.

Research firm Gartner agreed with the assessment in November stating that the estimated grey market share or no-brand manufacturers had increased to even above 20 percent of global sales. That’s huge and alarming but many other market followers have doubted the estimate.

As we know that the producers of these cheap knock-offs are not playing small here because of their ability to rush fake lookalike phones to the market ahead of the genuine product announcement. One good example is the “iPed" and Sophone fake iPhone 4 which is getting the look right and makes to the market first before apple announce the genuine iPod to the public. That’s really hurting not only the phone maker businesses but other tech products too. I know that Nokia is not alone to complain about forgery in foreign markets. Microsoft was also complaining last year about the impact of counterfeit software originating from China. Though, Chinese government has been stepping up its efforts to curtail the problem. They take seriously the long-festering problem of smuggled and counterfeit products which has been an issue not only affects their tax revenue but also tarnishes their image abroad.
