Bagyong "PAENG" update (November 2, 2014 - Sunday)


The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported that at 4:00 AM today, Typhoon "PAENG" was estimated based on all available data at 1,220 km East of  Baler, Aurora, with maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of 150 kph. It is forecast to move North Northwest at 13 kph.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported that at 4:00 AM today, Tropical Storm "PAENG" was estimated based on all available data at 1,102 km east of Legazpi City, with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is forecast to move west northwest at 15 kph.

Bagyong Ompong (international name: Vongfong) Typhoon OMPONG has changed course into north northwest direction moving towards the southern islands of Japan, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.

Tropical Storm "Vongfong" (international name) may follow closely in the footsteps of Typhoon "Neneng" (International name: Phanfone).
